Homemade Galloping Goulash Dog Food
Recipe
Galloping Goulash natural dog food recipe makes a welcome change. If you are looking for great alternative to drab
every dog food, try fixing up your dog a healthy helping of Galloping Goulash. This is a fantastic recipe that will
provide your dog with the right balance of everything he or she needs to be fit and well.
This dish is made to be fed alone, with no other supplementing dog
food or on top of dry dog food. If you would like to be sure your dog gets the right amount of crunch in his or her
diet, you can feed kibble for every other feeding or provide your dog with dental bones daily for proper tooth
care.
Ingredients:
When making the Galloping Goulash you will want to have the
following ingredients:
• 1 – 1 ½ lbs of ground meat (turkey, venison, beef, or
chicken)
• 1 cup of brown rice
• 3 cups of assorted fresh vegetables (kale, asparagus, broccoli, spinach, carrots,
sweet potatoes, and green beans)
• 2 eggs, hard boiled
• 1 can of mackerel
• 2 minced garlic cloves
• 2 chopped chicken livers or gizzards
Method:
You will want to use your blender or food processor for this
recipe. While you can finely chop all the ingredients, the idea is to pulverize them. You will also need a large
stove top pot for cooking this dog food as well. Simply follow these simple directions for the best
Galloping Goulash for your favorite puppy.
1. Finely chop all the mackerel, meat, eggs, garlic, and liver or
gizzards
2. Blend the vegetables in the processor or blender
3. Add all ingredients to large stove top pot
4. Add enough water to cover
5. Add brown rice
6. Stir mixture well
7. Simmer covered for 2 hours
8. Allow to cool
9. Serve warm or store
Your Galloping Goulash can be easily stored in both the
refrigerator and freezer. No more than four days worth of fresh food should be stored in the refrigerator at any
one time. This is to be sure that the food is still good. Feeding your dog spoiled food is not healthy and can make
your dog very ill.
Once you decide what amount you will be feeding your dog at each
feeding, you can simply store the Galloping Goulash
portions in the proper storage bags or containers. A serving size will depend on how
large your dog is and if you are mixing the food with kibble or not. Throw out any food that is left over after 4
days in the refrigerator or 6 months in the freezer.
