The list of ingredients is as follows for this lamb and rice
mix.
Ingredients:
• One to two pounds of lamb meat (ground if possible)
• Two cups of natural brown rice (cooked according to instructions)
• Two to four stalks of fresh broccoli
• Potatoes (2-3 medium, 4-5 small, or 1-2 large)
• Three to four medium carrots
• One sheet of Kombi or Sea Kelp (optional)
Method:
The preparation for the all natural lamb and rice mix is very
simple. You will need a crock pot, sauce pan, and a frying pan to begin cooking with.
Then you will do the following:
1. Add 2-3 tablespoons of oil into the frying pan.
2. Add lamb to frying pan and cook till brown.
3. Boil at least 6 cups of water in sauce pan.
4. Add 4 cups of boiled water into crock pot.
5. Turn crock pot on high.
6. Cube the potatoes, carrots, and broccoli.
7. Add the cubed potatoes into the frying pan with the
lamb.
8. Place veggies into the crock pot and then add the brown
rice.
9. Once the lamb and potatoes are brown, add them to the crock
pot.
10. Shred the Kombi, add a dash of pepper, and fill water up to
cover the mixture.
11. Heat on high until the rice is soft.
12. Cool and serve.
With this natural lamb and rice mix dog food recipe, you can make
enough to be able to separate into serving sizes that can be stored for up to four days in the refrigerator or
longer if you freeze it.
If you have a larger dog you may want to mix with kibble to get
more servings out of it, or double the recipe. Those with small dogs will simply need to freeze the smaller
portions or reduce the recipe.
