Mega Deluxe Dog Mix for Pampered

Mega Deluxe Dog Mix is a colossal serving of the ultimate natural dog food made from scratch. There is not a
dog on the planet that will not go crazy for this homemade meal. Each serving is packed with just the right amount
of everything a healthy dog needs.
All you will need to do is adjust the portions for dog size and
possibly add some extra protein for very active puppies. This is a very large recipe and can make more than a
week’s worth of food, so expect to have to freeze some of the portions.
It is always best to use the freshest ingredients, but frozen can
be substituted if need be. It is best to avoid canned foods due to high salt levels. Too much salt is not good for
dogs, or people.
Ingredients:
You will need the following ingredients for your Mega Deluxe Dog
Mix:
• 5 lbs of ground beef (chicken, lamb, venison, turkey, or
combination)
• ¾ cup of canola oil (can use safflower or sunflower oils as well)
• 4- 5 cloves of garlic
• 32 cups of water
• 8 – 10 cups of assorted fresh/frozen vegetables (broccoli, celery, spinach,
potatoes, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, beans, peas, carrots, asparagus, sprouts, and beets –
NO ONIONS)
• 1 package of dried kidney beans
• 45oz of quick cooking oats
• 2 hard boiled eggs (chopped)
• 2 tbsp of molasses
Method:
When you are first preparing your Mega Deluxe Dog Mix, you
will want to soak the kidney beans overnight in water to prepare them properly. You will also want at least a 24
quart stove top pot for your mix to be prepared in. To begin making your dog food –
1. Add oil to pot with ground meat and garlic minced
2. Cook the mix well
3. Cook beans in separate pot
4. Add water to pot with meat, garlic, and oil
5. Bring mix to a boil
6. Process or finely mince vegetables
7. Add processed vegetables to the boiling water
8. Add cooked beans to mix
9. Add oatmeal to the mix (may substitute with brown rice if
desire)
10. Stir mix well and frequently to prevent sticking
11. Stir in the molasses.
12. Stir in the eggs.
13. Allow to cool
14. Serve warm or store
The Mega
Deluxe Dog Mix can be eaten alone or mixed with a small amount of dry
dog kibble. If you are worried about your dog’s oral care, simply give him or her dental bones once per day to help
keep the tarter away.
Storing your dog dinner is easy. Separate the serving sizes into
plastic storage or freezer bags or containers. Each portion will be determined by the size of your pup, as well as
if the meal is eaten alone or with kibble.
Storage bags are the best way to freeze extra food, as the bags
can be flattened for optimum storage. Only refrigerate up to four days of fresh food and freeze the rest. Frozen
food can be used for up to six months. To thaw the Mega Deluxe Dog
Mix, simply place the food into the refrigerator.
