Ingredients:
To make your own Tail Wagging Dog Treats you will
need the following ingredients:
• One egg
• 3/4th cup meat juices
• ½ cup milk powder
• 1/3 cup butter or margarine
• Three cups of whole wheat flour
• ½ teaspoon of salt
Method:
When you are choosing to make the treats you will want to be sure that you have the right
cooking tools in your home. You want to have a large mixing bowl for mixing all your ingredients into. You will
want a large cookie baking sheet as well to bake your treats on. When preparing and cooking the Tail Wagging Dog Treats you want to follow the preceding directions.
1. Preheat oven to 170C (325F) or Gas Mark 3
2. Spray cookie sheets with nonstick spray
3. Pour hot water over the butter or margarine in a large bowl
4. Stir in powdered milk
5. Add salt and egg
6. Add ½ cup of flour at a time and mix well
7. Knead dough for 3-4 minutes and add more flour
8. Make sure dough is stiff
9. Flour surface for dough
10. Pat or roll to ½ inch of thickness
11. Cut into shapes with knife or cookie cutter
12. Place cookies on baking cookie sheet
13. Bake for 50 minutes
14. Cool and dry out until hard
