Ingredients:
If you want to make a batch of Tasty Tuna Crunch, you will need the following ingredients. To make larger or smaller batches, simply modify the
recipe accordingly.
• One can of tuna in oil, not drained
• One third cup of water
• One cup of corn meal
• One cup of oatmeal, uncooked
• One forth teaspoon of baking powder
• One half teaspoon salt
Method:
You will need a blender or food processor, large bowl, and baking
sheets. If you want to be sure that you spread the meal out evenly, then you may want a rolling pin as well. Do not
forget to spray the baking sheet with a non-stick cooking spray. If you do not, your dog food will stick to the
sheet.
When making your Tasty Tuna Crunch you will want to follow these
following directions. If you are making a large batch of the food, you will need more than one baking sheet and may
have to bake in groups.
1. Preheat oven at 180C (350F) or Gas Mark 4
2. Put oatmeal in blender or food processer
3. Pulverize oats into a flour
4. Add tuna with oil, and water into flour
5. Blend into paste
6. Transfer mix into bowl
7. Add corn meal, baking powder, and salt
8. Make into a dough
9. Lightly flour counter
10. Roll out dough to half an inch think
11. Cut into small pieces
12. Place pieces on baking sheet
13. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes
14. Turn heat off
15. Allow to cool and harden in oven
16. Store at room temperature
If you want extra crunchy Tasty Tuna Crunch, you will want to store the food
