Homemade Tummy Recoup Dog Food
for Your Sick Puppy

When your dog has been sick and he or she is not holding down his or her normal food, try making the Tummy Recoup Dog Food to help his or her tummy.

When your dog is sick they tend to either not want to eat, or everything they ingest runs right through them literally. This will leave your dog lethargic and can even cause dehydration.

This homemade dog food will offer you a fresh way to get your dog to eat, bind up his or her belly to make him or her more comfortable, and encourage him or her to drink more to stay fully hydrated. This will give your dog the energy and nutrients that he or she needs to fight off the bug.

Ingredients:

To make your Tummy Recoup Dog Food you will want to use lean chicken meat and low or no salt ingredients. You will need the following to make this dog food recipe:

• 1 pound of lean ground chicken or pureed skinless chicken breast
• Four cups of low salt chicken broth
• Two cups of rice
• Approximately 15 ounces of fresh or frozen cut green beans

Method:

The Tummy Recoup Dog Food is very easy to fix and takes very little time at all. You will need two medium to large sized saucepans and one frying pan to begin cooking.

You will want to use a very small amount of safflower or vegetable oil in the frying pan. Butter can work too. Do not use too much butter, as it tends to be rich, which can further upset the dog’s stomach. Use the following directions to prepare your dog’s meal.

1. Place oil and chicken into frying pan

2. Cook chicken until done, but not too brown

3. Add water to sauce pan

4. Bring to a boil

5. Add beans to water

6. Cook until soft

7. Add chicken broth to sauce pan

8. Bring to a boil

9. Add rice and stir

10. Reduce heat

11. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes

12. Add beans and chicken to rice and stir

13. Allow to cool and serve

Once you have made your Tummy Recoup Dog Food you will want to divide it into serving sizes for your sized dog. Put each serving into a baggie or container and refrigerate. You will not want more than four days of food at one time in your refrigerator.

Feed only the Tummy Recoup Dog Food alone with no other dog food until your dog’s poop is firm. Then you will slowly add small amounts of his or her normal dog food in after.

Add more food slowly to be sure not to bother your dog’s stomach again. If he or she goes back to not feeling well, start over again and allow him or her to eat the mixture longer. You can make larger batches or food that can be frozen as well. This will allow you to slowly get your dog’s diet back to normal.
